Starhub Digital Call

What is the difference between digital call and normal singtel phone line?
recommend to pick which one? -
eh starhub is called digital voice, and u will need a voice enabled modem for it to make calls.
it's starhub's way of calling it "their residential" line.
my house uses it, and i m quite pleased with it
but the bad thing is that if u switch off the modem, u will nt be able to make calls with it, or if there is an emergency case like a black out.
but, overall, the bill is definitely cheaper than those of singtel's as it's free of charge for max online subscribers 6000 and above.
for clarity, it's about the same, so no diff.
In terms of reliability, both do seem to be on par, but once again, if there is a black out , then singtel more reliable -

till now it's still free, for starhub max online customers fill dec 2007, there after, it's $10.29 per month which may be subjected to increase or not but it's still fixed, unlike singtel which is quite unstable due to the amount of usageOriginally posted by picmonster:only $10? starhub made it clear already? will the price increase? -
