  a port ratio?
  Or whatever that sounds like that, or is something like that?
  My mother and I were at the sale of a condo called clementi woods and I noticed that the buildings all around the area were pretty short.
  Is there a cap on the height of buildings there?
  I don't think it was on reclaimed land was it?

  A plot ratio defines the total floor area of buildings permitted to be erected on a site. A plot ratio is calculated by dividing the net floor area of all buildings on the site by the net site area.

  Plot ratio is the total floor area of the building / the site area.
  
  Usually the higher the plot ratio, the taller the building.

  you just bought a plot of land at west coast with a 5-storey building on it.
