Sri Mariamman Temple has her statue at the darkest part of the Temple. I saw before - very eerie and her holding entrails and a decapitated head and a few other things .
Sri Veeramakaliamman Temple and Sri Ruthra Kaliamman Temple are dedicated to her. Note the kali in the midst of the name.
For her to do anything for you , you have to do something to yourself first. In the ancient days - human sacrifices were made to her. Some of her devotees were said to disembowel themselves in dedication.
