thanksAll wifi network you get access to are free-of-charge. Just read the phone manual for instructions on using wifi on your phone.
There are three companies that provide free Wireless@SG. Check out Qmax, Icell and Singtel. If you sign up with Qmax, there will be a free creative web cam (not sure if this offer is still valid now).
After signing up, just use your phone to search for these network when you are out in places like shopping center, town central, cbd, etc. If you are able to detect them, then you should be able to connect to it and see the login screen the network prompts you to enter. Once entered, you will get to surf.
By the way, wifi(if you can get access, it's free) is not equal to GPRS(need to pay per kb). Take note not to access unsecured network not meant for you.
As for the rest, read the phone manual and google yourself.
