  I need help and advice here.
  
  There was this day whereby me and my friends planned to go orchard to get some stuff after school.
  And when are waiting for the bus to come at the bus stop.
  My friend phone rang, it was my friend that pon ten school today.
  He called my friend and asked him for help to explain to the teacher not to call his father.
  AS FRIENDS. So my friend say okay lo. He explained to the teacher the plead for the teacher not to call the guy that pon ten parents.
  But the teacher dont care still call.
  Then after we left the staff room i said "Why you all waste ur breath and time help him, he pon ten his problem ma. Its only rightful if his dad scold him"
  Then some of my friends start to say "Eh you so bad leh, people trouble you must help him ma, or friends for what one"
  I was like WTF. And totally digusted.
  
  I mean if his dad used violence against him. Yeah it is not acceptable. But if his dad only scold him and punish him or ground him. I tot its only rightful? You wan pon ten school you face the consequences. Why you pon ten liao still ask ppl help you? You primary school kid i can accept. Now they sec4 liao leh why still like that.
  
  I am not saying that friends should not help each other but at least for meaningful matters right. This kind "you deserve it" thing still call for help. Then you dont help people say you selfish. Then you help you only wasting your time and not making ur friends realise their mistake. Then what should i do? Be hypocripte and so i can blend in to the group ah? Or stay away from them and be a loner?

  depends on wat kind of friend he is lor, if he is a good friend who helps you when ur in trouble u should definitely help him, if he is a friend who runs away when ur in trouble, then u shouldnt help him

  TS, you should dissuade ur frd from pon tak first right? But if he still go, u also did ur best to "beg" ur teacher to dun call le. If ur frd blame u, u shouldn't take it to heart lor. If he dun frd u (NB, y so primary school har?), then also lan lan mah....

  I nvr help him at all. Cause obviously he has the fuck up mentality with i dont like.
  I just follow my friend to the staff room nia.
  And i was pretty amazed that my friend will actually help him. IMO the "him" is totally not worth it.

  But really ar, im still surprise that there are ppl who are scared of their parents when they skip school. And tt person who played truant, i think he did not even bother to visit the polyclinic and get an mc for just 4 bucks. This kind of ppl who dont even want to cover up his own tracks is not worth helping.

  hahaha, this has no relation, but what school are you from? I was thinking rgs, 'cause you mentioned orchard. then you said "him"... ah, you from SJI? (okayokayokay)
  about your friend ... I dunno, I guess its smt people just do. Maybe your friend knew the other friend for a long time. And maybe he knows something about the other friends' home life that perhaps you dont know?

  i think if simple things like this you also cannot accept. you better be a good boy and study hard and get into a good JC. you come poly you see tonnes of people skipping lectures and all but still asking their friends to help them sign attendence.
  
  but i see you this kind little bit also reluctant to help. true that skipping classes go against your principals but why can't you help someone in need? did he snatch your girlfriend or smth tt makes you so mad tt you don't even want to help him? its not as though you help him the whole world is gonna condemn you as a bad boy. at least make an attempt to help. if its not successful at least you tried.
  
  but of course after saying all these its still you to judge your friend and not me. if your friend is really one fucked up guy than perhaps not helping him may be fine. but don't influence your friends with your principal who don't feel the same way as you. only makes matters worse.

  what if your friend have got problems which no one knows about. or problems which he can't tell anyone about.
  
  next time if u dowan help your friend, just diam diam don't make any noise. confirm no one say u de.
