Conned of $450 by girl asking for help...what to do?

once a civil suit has been filed....with the ip address and mobile phone number ....i believe the police would be able to find some leads leading to the scammer whereabouts and hopefully prevent another victim and maybe TS might get his money back.....if its a syndicate then lets hope the police will be able to bust it
someone might want to write to the press letting the public know of such scams hopefully to prevent another victim and also urge potential victims not to think with the wrong head especially after seeing a pretty girl picture but i'm pretty surprised that a 30 yrs old guy would fall for such tricks -

Seems pretty strange...when I first posted this article, there were many claiming to be victims and making police reports etc and all of a sudden they are all uncontactable...hmm.

She just asked $450 from me last night via MSN.
Said her mum passed away last week, father not coming from Hong Kong to help her, landlord chased her out etc... the same sad story... also promised to give me her passport, HP number and address etc...
I am checking her background, therefore I chance upon this thread.
I told her I can help her providing a place for her to stay till she tide over her difficulties, but she was quite adamant about collecting cash from me. In the end, no deal.

I think the only way to track her down is her bank acc number and her hp number. Give this two to the cops and see what they can do.
