  i seen alot of poly students who originally from jc did well as their fountation in maths very strong. one of the students were silver medalist. but the gold medalist was originally a ite student. :-3

  crossover, no use getting angry here lah over other people "suaning". I am happy for u tat u can go NUS/NTU through sports, and not only because u excel academically.
  
  but if ur friends cannot get into the Big 3 (SMU/NTU/NUS), then advise them 2 go SIM. SIM, IMO is the better Private school of the whole lot. They can study business, marketing, finance etc there and get overseas cert at a cheaper price then going overseas.
