  The after-school staple we screen on TV - jap anime, american movies - all depict rather mature relationships between pre-pubescent kids. It shouldn't come as a surprise when kids start emulating what they see on TV.
  
  IMHO, we, as adults, ought to be aware of the changes in society and guide our children accordingly. However this is greatly hampered and complicated by our Singapore work culture, where both parents are usually working to support the family largely due to government policies driving costs of living/education sky high.
  
  It's a sad cycle.

  I think this should be done on a annual basis. Although sex education are usually taught by the CME teachers. But most of the teacher just go through this topic without going into detail. Teacher usually convert the CME lesson to other more useful lesson like math etc.

  None, because it all boils down to individual decisions and critical thinking.
  
  Parents of a child are closest and best agent to educate Children on these issues. It takes a personal level of interest and respect to interact and gain understanding and discussion.
  Which is why i've mentioned it's implicative for school to attempt to this topics. The weight of it will be diminished and initial concern will not be delivered effectively.
