NUS or NTU better?

Btw, I think her concern is that it seems there are too many Malaysians who are being accepted to NTU, and as a result, English is very less spoken in the campus. Almost everyone will speak in Mandarin only, even in class since the lecturers are from China

because this is the link from Singapore Accountancy Academy and if TS friend want to pursue an accounting career,it important to know which sch ,NUS or NTU provide more credits in ICPAS which is important so should really check out that site,if not choose the wrong school and end up wasting her time more loh. -
For business courses, SMU > NTU > NUS. That's what being make known to us. SMU for its 100% employment for its business graduates and quite high starting pay. NTU for its recognitions by don't know what associations or whatever. Never heard anything good about NUS except for its brand name.
As for the NTU hostel issue, NTU guarantees all freshmen a hostel slot. So, do not worry of not able to get a hostel. But a point to note, it's only for the freshmen, after the 1st year, whether you can secure a slot depends on some credit system.

SMU charged higher fees than NUS and NTU:

The daily expenses e.g. food will be higher since it is a city campus. Duration of course is also longer. -
tts absolute crap.. 90% of my peers speak english in school.. ok maybe more than 90%.. haha.. side thread abit, even nbs is the top business sch in sg, you must NOT forget it is still ntu... n environment wise, ntu SUX as it is forever OVERCROWDING, canteen A and B food SUX! definitely not a good environment for students to study as there is no enough of benches to sit.
me from ntu, n i can tell u it's hell during exam period.
but i heard that nbs students get a good cosy environment to study in their dept cos they can afford to spend $1000 over for a piece of chair. u can ask more info from motoway cos i believe she might be nbs student.... also churra is one of the important staff there.

my students already offered a place in NTU after her interview on friday...must say they offered it to her very fast, she knew the result a day after her interview
now waiting for the scholarship news...hopefully she will get it, then i tink she will go study in NTU le -

NTU is a nt bad sch! The prof are slightly more technical, able to teach more practical things. But a bit isolated from the world.... hide in a corner, so inaccessible...

actually the location of ntu got gd got bad la.. even though inaccessible rite.. ntu has a nice campus wif lotsa trees and landscapes.. the air in the morning and nite is very nice, cooling, breezy.. closer to nature too.. actually it depends on individuals la.. some pple like urban campus, i like suburban campus.. haha..Originally posted by BlUe G@rF|eLd:NTU is a nt bad sch! my student has decided to go into NTU
She got an offer into the accoutancy degree program, together with the ASEAN scholarship to study there as well... -

for hall 2, u have ur own toilet (for every two rooms share a toilet) but the problem is u must wash every two months. n study rooms nearby do not have toilet which u must travelled to ur own room or u go to toilet near the saloon.
so far hall 14 is the nicest as u have 4 studying areas, n there r alot of sexy dancers to watch here.
hall 12 brought me alot of memories as i used to leave my love for a gal there.
