  I am planning to go there for holiday
  
  any attraction places whereby i can visit there?
  
  which hotel should i stay ar preferable around
  
  70 bucks per night or so......

  but anyway... u can visit the eagle platform...
  
  got huge eagle there...
  
  or u can visit a museum tribute to the ex PM... mahathir..
  
  its called... perdana museum or sumtin...
  
  tats all i can remember abt the attractions..

  Well.. depends on wat type of accomodation ye are looking for... Beach resort? Hotel?
  
  Beach resort wise.. try to get one along Pantai Cenang...Holiday Villa's a gd spot. V nice beach + view. If u want hotel.. preferably within Kuah Town.. unless u super rich go and book Andaman.. $500+ / night.. lol
  
  I went there late last september with my girlfriend. was raining for 3 days straight. Had the first 2 days of pure sunshine... anyway u don't have to worry about what to visit as there will be ppl distributing pamphlets regarding the 1 or 2 day tour packages they offer
  
  Make sure u choose the one which brings u to the Eagle Feeding event.. its v v v nice.. grab a gd camera along too.. v nice scenery. Do visit the cable car ride up to the summit of one of their peaks... V gd photo opp there... it will be abit chilly tho
  
  If u are into the history, legends and folklore of Langkawi, visit Mahsuri's Tomb...
  
  Makan wise... visit 'Fat Mum' homecooked seafood restaurant along Pantai Cenang... very close to Holiday Villa Beach Resort... SUPERB FRESH SEAFOOD AT LOW PRICE!!!!! MUST TRY!
  
  The locals there are VERY VERY VERY VERY nice!
  
  I'm making a trip up to Langkawi again this december for Langkawi International Maritime & Aerospace airshow...
  
  airfare up to Langkawi from Singapore via Silkair currently is $302 per person *subject at least 2 to go* for december period.

  went there a long time ago. all i remember was that there was a beach with black sand. and that one night we ate fried lemon chicken outdoors and the wind was so strong the plates flew
