The SOF thingy......I not from navy....my NS in army....last time got SOF recruitment talk....they tell us that U can APPLY if U have at least served 9mths in the vocation U are in....to me..it means that if U fail the SOF training...they still have a place to dump U back.....
Anyway....singapore naval special ops force is not exactly called SOF hor...they just share the same basic selection and training phase.....I don't see the correct term being used much so I dunno if I can tell U the name...U can find out from your navy sources...
Anyway...if U really want to do special ops....I suggest that U go for diver first....U regular....a diver badge would look good on ur credentials and also in case U cannot make it to special ops...U also can go back to NDU and be one of the elites....NDU training would be good for your special ops selection and training too....Edited by Xcert 26 Aug `02, 3:19AM

Nooki : SOF does look for people annually.In fact,they sent the recruitment letter to me quite a few times and i threw it into the wastebasket,ehehe
