I got neighbours who are harassed by Loanshark, got beaten up even and they did make police report. What do the police do? Do the TNP come and report? Do people make a fuss about it? NOOO.
Perhaps the transport company ought to teach their drivers how to handle the situation better too for the well being of their bus drivers.

Whether the driver has a kiampah face or not is a by-the-way issue. He has all his rights to demand the confiscation of a lost Ezlink card, even if he hasn't expressed it in the most polite manner. It's his job and duty anyway. Besides we weren't there during the assault to tell the tone of the driver.
But still assault is assault and its just wrong. The boy needs to be punished for not only bringing shame to his school and his family but also a reflection of the kind of attitudes of the boy. It's disturbing (not jealousy as some claimed :roll
that a student from a supposedly elite school reacted to the situation in such an uncouth manner, but of course, if he is demonstrating an example against stereotypes then he succeeded in that. -
