It's like you're describing me.Originally posted by kb24:ok i have this problem. Being myself means that i will tend to talk very little,i will be quite boring and just a low profile type of person.
All these qualities are'nt really good when it comes to meeting new friends and gatherings among old friends.
So my query is,should i maintain being myself, which is extremely boring and risk making less friends; or pretend to be some1 else so i can seem more interesting and outgoing, and hopefully end up making more friends?
This is really hard to decide so any1 can help?
I am like you, very quiet and low profile. If you want to make more friends, you'll have to be out-going and active in conversations.Originally posted by kb24:ok i have this problem. You can talk very little, but what you say makes you an interesting or boring person. If what you say can churn more discussion, oh boy, what a conversation starter you are.Originally posted by kb24:ok i have this problem. That's so you! I can verify that.Originally posted by Darkness_hacker99:I am like you, very quiet and low profile. If you want to make more friends, you'll have to be out-going and active in conversations.
But there are pros and cons of being low profile lah. The chose is yours.
"You" don't exists... meaning "You" can be anything... it is all in the mind... and some practice...Originally posted by kb24:ok i have this problem. Being myself means that i will tend to talk very little,i will be quite boring and just a low profile type of person.

Being oneself is what defines an individual from a group. An identity that is unique to each and every individual.Originally posted by kb24:ok i have this problem. Being myself means that i will tend to talk very little,i will be quite boring and just a low profile type of person.

Your principles will also determine ur character. We all put on masks from time to time. Pleasing everyone is a tiring thing to do..Originally posted by kb24:wow lots of great advices..
its is true we have to put on masks at times to adapt to diff situations, but one can get very tired if forced to put on the mask for too long.
its like maybe i can be very interesting for this day,but the next day i get tired and revert back to my old self..so people may find me inconsistent and decided that i'm a hypocrite, this is another risk..
hmm it sucks that some people have this problem, whereas to some it's easier than abc.. well guess the world's unfair huh..
