I'm not sure about Singapore though, but I've heard from friends that it's much tougher here in terms of the amount of work and hours put in.
Uk is also meritocratic , thats why its A levels standard. Afterall last time out O- A levels papers come from there rite..
But AUs is more on practical, creative open cultured approach...
