  Body of man found floating in Kallang River

  SINGAPORE : In a third water-related incident in the past week, a body was found floating in Kallang River, near Block 83 on Wednesday morning.
  
  A Civil Defence spokesperson told Channel NewsAsia they received a call at about 10.23 am.
  
  SCDF personnel and divers rushed to the scene, but the 50-year-old man was declared dead by paramedics on arrival.
  
  The incident comes just days after an Indian national drowned in Lower Seletar Reservoir and the body of a woman was found floating in the same reservoir. - CNA/ms
