You would need to master your English first. Je ne sais quoi actually means mysterious quality: from French, literally "I do not know what"

I think Russian is a good take. Looking at how our leaders are engaging the Russians. There are many outstanding professors/scientists from Russia (FT) whom we can leverage on, especially for such a small country Singapore.
But if given time and $, I would like to take up Chinese (my root) and to be really good at it. -
im doing japanese right now, i had done german and italian before. well, i dont plan to take up anything new, mastering a language is a lifetime thing after all.

I'm planning on picking up Korean next. It's the Hangul that's getting to me; it's not very easy like in German or Japanese or Russian, where the alphabets don't join together like in Hangul.

The grammar is also rather different from other European languages. Have you had the privilege of interacting with a few of them? As for me I've learnt a little German. I'd like to work on that, and after that, the list is endless - Italian, Estonian, Swedish, Dutch, Polish, Suomeksi, Malay...where do I begin? I don't know how fluent I'll be, but if I can practise using them with my other half and friends, they probably won't end up like my command of Mandarin.
