  Lets say your basic is $2,000 and your commission is about $500,
  
  So how does CPF deduct? from $2000 or $2000 + commission?
  
  Is commission, allowance and bonuses etc, reflected on your income statement?

  depend. most of the company declare com as well. but i think the max contribution of cpf is less than 2k..?

  Yes, commision and bonuses are CPF decucted. Also taxable.
  
  CPF is capped at $4500/-
  
  If ur basic + commision is $5000/- the u need to pay CPF for
  $4500 x 20% or $900/-
  
  Your net pay will be $5000 - $900 = $4100/-

  Point to add : U can have a private arrangement with said employer to pay your comm in cash.
  
  BUT.
  1. U missed out on the employer CPF contribution. And since you are in sales, I am gonna assume ur comm is pretty high ?
  2. No paperwork also means you are exposed to higher risks. Are you willing to take that chance ?

  yes, some companies pay commission separately from normal payroll so cpf is not deducted.
  
  if no cpf contribution on commission, technically employee loses out
