Giving up seats to pregnant lady

Anyone encounter giving up their seats to pregnant lady on the train and not even an acknowledgment or word of thx was said?
when i give up my seat to senior citizen, at least they will acknowledge or thank you, heck some even reject the offer nicely. But pregnant lady,and mind you these r educated, working class women,they seem to take it for granted that pple MUST give up their seats to them.

Which brings back the same old question... How do we differentiate between a pregnant lady and a fat lady? Sometimes it just aint that obvious.

When cross path with a "elite" or someone at Orchard Road, they will make that irritating "ze" sound
When cross path with a cleaner, although I let her go first, she mouthed the word "sorry", which really surprised me a lot... -
got once i gave seat to old lady
she keep on thanking me from serangoon to little india.........so freaking paiseh leh -

got once i was stared by a mother who is pushing a baby pram bcos she was at my side, even i apologised n quickly make way for her, she stil gives me tat buey song look n 'gin' me.
luckily lim bu in good mood, if not i sure stare her back.

Same same. I give to a mother of 3, she thank me non-stop.
I give to a mother with a unborn child. She heck care, somemore give me that guai lan look.

so far, i havent kana scolding for being a good samaritan.
if ever will, i will keep quiet cos i dun want to look like a fool arguing with a fool. -

you see those old ah pek and old auntie rite...
those use the walking stick 1 is must give seat to let them sit...
if got white hair also better give it to them
if carry loads of market stuffs also give to them
but if it is a young lady, like 20-35
wearing 5' heels, carrying bags from robinsons, OG, john little, prada, whatever high class boutiques lah..
that type.. don't need give...
cuz they can afford to buy branded stuffs.. cannot afford take cab. -

There was this time the bus was pretty crowded.The farthest i could move in was to the exit.So i was standing there,when this old man boarded the bus.This old man looked healthy and jostle and barge his way to the rear of the bus(bumping into me in the process without saying sorry.
I was wondering why did he want to go the the rear of the bus when it is all crowded?
Then i saw him ORDERING an indian boy(Sec sch kid in his sch uniform) to stand up and give his seat to him.
