laser pointers

anybody is experienced with laser pointers? or has one?
preferably those that arent your typical "for application purpose" pointers..as in stronger than 5mW..

uh im part of a overseas laser forum...max allowed in singapore is 5mw..SUCKS RIGHT?! cant even sting skin...so best thing to do is to take a dvd burner diode and mod a maglite and voila..or u can buy a seperate diode off ebay...wicked lasers are expensive found this cheapest

green lasers are cool cos they are 50times brighter (or it seems cos our eye is more receptive to green) and have a visible beam (i think cos its brighter)but what red lasers cant do they make up in the price..they are much cheaper -
for teaching can use those cheap ones..these i think abit pricey for that purpose..probably can use it for star-pointing o.o

yeah the restriction is stupid..and i dunno how to make my own laser..
i dunno, i actually ordered one from www.novalasers.com for like 150 bucks, i dont know if the customs gonna confiscate it or not.. i only found out that its 5mW max after i paid for it, so like..too bad haha.
