eh guys...can teach me how to run properly anot ah?I dont know why, but it seems that i'm always the weakest runner in the entire school..i'm even worse than most "heavyweights" whose nutrition level is 130% upwards...
and i'm like acceptable weight-100% nutrition level and yet i only can surpass them by a few seconds...it's like damn embarassing you know...everytime the boys run first, then the girls will run 10mins after us...but then everytime the girls overtake me....WTF I CANT TAKE IT ANYMORE!!!!!!!!I've been failing almost everyyear in secondary sch!!!!
I tell you, when i run, i always feel that my feet are in a great deal of pain and my heart just becomes very painful...do you guys think that it's because i've problems with my health?or is it just i'm born like that- unable to run fast..
the weird thing is, when i try to train, i can run within time limit...but in school, my legs just give up...

i seriously suspect that i'm having heart problems...but only during running or other streneous exersices like playing soccer in the back of my classroom, or even catching....I mean, there's absolutely no reason for me to be more tired than those fatty ones right?

i tink ur problem is on ur stamina.
build up ur stamina and im sure u can run betta than the "heavyweight"
when u are building up ur stamina, always remember to "push urself to the limit"
good lucks
i think you might be right sia...i've never exercised in my life to date...but what's puzzling is that those 130%er's also never exercise..yet they dont pant like a dog after 2.4 leh...

then go and see a doctor and find out the problem
then can escape NAFPA and PE lessons..
FYI re-run does not mean anything bad

if you can run within the time limit during practice runs yet you are not able to perform during school runs, it could be due to a mental problem.
the thing is, for borderline passers like us, mental strength is crucial in 2.4km run. it can be demoralising when u realise you are slowing down exponentially suring the run or like "how come i only ran 2 rounds and i feel so tired already? i still got 2/3 of the run to complete. how?"
yea it sucks, but try to adopt a different attitude. first, start slow. doesnt matter if u cant catch up with those fast runners at the start. the thing is to pace yourself properly. instead of chionging 1 min 45 for the first 2 rounds and die like 2min 30 for the next 4 rounds. keep it at a steady time of around 2 mins per round and you will be laughing ur way to a relaxed, slow and easy pass.
next, instead of thinking how many runs you completed, psyche yourself on how many you just have to complete, "like i ONLY have 4 rounds to go" rather than "sianz i ONLY completed 2 rounds". keep pushing yourself. with 2 laps to go, try increasing your pace.
it's all in the mind yea. the pain and fatigue, get used to it.
just my $0.02 from experience.
