and we are told that inflation is less with 2% with the GST going from 5% to 7%.

before you guys start ranting, the price of pork and ALL commodities has increased significantly...
not only because the price of oil has gone to around US$93 a barrel, everything else has also increased...
crop like wheat, soy, corn and more has been moved towards producing biofuels, resulting in shortages for food... which means the price goes up..
pigs do not eat swill anymore...
if you can do anything about it, we're open to suggestions... -

2% increase in GST isn't as much as a 120% increase in oil prices, 40% increase in grain prices.. which leads to added increases each step of the way...

The oil prices is beyond our control I know... so if the oil increase is 120%, add another two percent of total spending is alot!! add the 2% GST increase to all the price increases and you can see how they are trying to create more stress for everyone...
weekend I was looking at a bed for sale and there were two prices on it.. $600+ and $700+
at first I thought the price difference was because of different versions, and then it hit me that it was because of GST!
Most of the time we do not pay much attention to GST...
OMG when you actually look at how much you pay for GST you will be shocked!
despots.... dishonorable... take public money and put so much into their own pockets...
