NUS business or NTU engineering harder to get in?

Business courses are hot in demand nowadays whereas engineering courses are getting less popularity. I heard NUS BIZ cut off grades are pretty high this year compared to the past years.
Anyway people always say NTU engineering is a dumping ground. Poor A level grades with no more to go will choose NTU engineering. -
no leh. it was once a hot faculty which only the good ones can enter. NBS business is harder to enter than NUS. -
Starting salary of engineering grad higher than business grad

Depends on the type of engineering course too. Aerospace Engineering (only NTU offers it) at NTU will be harder to get in than NUS Business, whereas the less popular engineering courses will be easier. NTU Biz school is harder to get in than NUS biz sch because NTU biz sch is ranked better. Other engineering courses like chemical engineering for example, NUS will be better for it.

thats what they say starting salary higher but most of my engine friends are not getting like what ppl say lei.only very few la.and that very usually are honours students.
i think business prospect higher.even with a lower starting pay,it can rise very fast la.at least faster than engine. engineering degree also can last how long sia.5-10yrs.than must refresher again.
nowadays degrees quite common la.its only what uni u come from and whether its an honours one that will determine how high ur pay is.
