  NUS was never really that good. It cannot provide good enough challenges to the better students.

  I remember when it was 18th, the NUS website proclaimed: 'NUS Among Top 20 Universities in The World' or something like that.
  
  Then, when it dropped to 22nd, it proclaimed: 'Top Quartile of World's Best 100 Universities'.
  
  So now.... what will the website say?

  but they said NTU is easer to pass rather than in NUS. My fren also said the professors in NUS heck care the students. Cause when she asked her proff how to do a certain qn, he just simply said read the text!!

  Ranking isnt a big issue anyway. There are plenty of rankings out there and it really depend on the criteria set by each ranking.
  
  Anyway NUS degree isnt that attractive to foreign employers.

  Any case studies or examples to back that up? According to the media, apparently local grads are highly prized with lots of MNCs wanting to hire them even before they leave college.
