Alot of ppl underestimate the damage vicious rumors can do even tho it is false...
Its similar to when a innocent guy who is accused of molest/rape. Even tho he may be cleared by the court but it may be too late.

how will you account yourself then? if you've got the balls to accuse someone and discredit them, do you have it in you to apologise if you're proven wrong?
i hardly see people apologising and taking back their words. when they're finally proven innocent through circumstances and time, all of you rumour mongers just disappear into the shadow, none of you take any responsibility for your reckless words.

anyway it still doesn't give you an excuse to spread ugly rumour when you have no idea if its true or not.
