both kit and tanya are deserving. Record companies should scout for these type of potential. they are more international in their style and of course we want to portray the international look not cheena type like Jocie Kok and Kelly Poon.

now ple think JJ, sun yan zi they all are considered s-popstars and ple like liang wen fu, hong shao xuan etc are considered out-dated.

we have to start to support local talent. we hear and see many taiwanese, japanes, korean export. about time that we want these countries to hear and see many of our export. l still like tanya and kit chan for their bilingualism and the style they exude. more cosmopolitan and not cheena type. not those teeny popper type and dress like flower and behave like clown.

Kit Chan is prolly the only one deserving as she made the right choice of going to Hong kong where she blossomed. I think they have too much money to spare.
Why cant they use that money for better purposes such as showing EPL matches and newer movies (instead of repeating the same movie within a time period of a few months eg. behind enemy lines) -

why ppl luv to condemn what singapore is trying to do? but i'm one of them too. singapore is just trying to imitate everything from other ctries and then make it like its their own original creativity.
and i personally dun like jj lin( everyday oso luv song, but not even nice), jocie(she can sing songs tt are for childrens), kelly(looks too fugly), sun ho(worst than kelly).
as for steph sun, i quite like her voice. and kit chan, yes, she shud be the one taking steph sun's place as singapore's da tian hou -

steph sun...from RGS and SAJC, but hv not heard her piak English before. so is JJ Lin. -
imo stop those "superstar" shows. people make these shows cause they earn money from the phone calls from fan-girls. some more show over, hype over, the artiste also over. one album? then gone. nowadays the s-pop singers really cannot compare to kit chan and tanya etc.
chinese pop in general is about "love", "breakup", whole day same thing, people also sian right. only the fans fantasize the singer saying that to him/her then they song so they buy the cd. that is one of the reasons that jay is so popular right now, he experimenting a lot of genres and got fang wen shan (imba lyrics writer) to back him up.
