this mth me no bonus.. boohoooo![]()
i'm mildly amusing at ur idiotic myopic point of view.Originally posted by Nikar2:i read the newspapers with total disgust and anger today when i read how these crappers will get so much bonus.
prices rise up already and the lower - middle income families are already feel the big pinch and gahmen still like that??!!!
IMHO, people who serve gahmen in any country should be for the love and patriotism of the country, not for bonuses so that they can spend it all in Batam, fast cars or 50-storey condos.
gahmen jobs is like charity like that, you can't really compare yourself to the public sector, and still got one dog in the Straits Times front page today says he's not getting as much as his peers in the private sector.
if run gahmen is like run commercial organisation, then something is wrong.
they should use the surplus to give progress packages and financial aid to the needy.
60,000 people will get the bonus, and if their average salary is S$2500, 2 months will be S$400.
400 * 60,000 = S$246,000,00!!!!!!!
that's 24.6 million!!!!!!!
and not to forget most of them are executives, so salaries will be way higher than just S$2500, so 2 months bonus in turn will also be higher....the total figure of the bonus package will be S$40++ million!!!!!!

Dammit Larof course civil servants are DIFFERENT from politicians.
Civil Servants are DIFFERENT from Politicians k?
CIVIL SERVANTS like other normal workers, DESERVE their BONUSES for their WORK k?
how about no civil servants? how do u tink the country will work.Originally posted by Nikar2:(corebooster)
of course civil servants are DIFFERENT from politicians.
politicians make the decisions and the civil servants carry them out dutifully.
in return, the dogs get their worth of bonuses!
just think about it: insanely crappy ERP increases.
if the regime implement this on paper but all civil servants refuse to do anything, u ****ing think the regime can suceed?!
if GST increase every year, transport fares increase every year, all kinds of prices go up during bad times BUT NEVER come down during good times, and civil servants refuse to do the paperwork and implementation on their part, will the regime suceeed?!
NO!!!!!!
SGreans always complain about the regime and this and that, but u guys are happy when the servants of the regime get their bonuses?
they, as employees, are paid to do the work so of course they have to do the implementation. dont forget whatever price hike or GST increase also affect the civil servants as well. and many of them are in the middle and lower income group. no matter how they dislike the decisions, they still have to carry out their duties.Originally posted by Nikar2:(corebooster)

assuming you work for a company which decides to raise prices of their goods which will affect you directly. you work for them, no matter how you dislike the price hike, you as an employee still have to implement the decision. if the public dislikes the price hike, should they get angry with the employees and call them dogs since they work for the company? will you refuse to do the paperwork for the company cos you dislike the price hike? even if you openly refused to do it, the outcome will be either the company fires you or you quit, and the company gets another person to do the paperwork and their decision is still implemented in the end.the thing is: why civil servants want to work for the regime?
civil servants themselves, like any other people, have mouths to feed, families to take care of. do you think they will risk losing their rice bowls over the price hikes? if you are truely unhappy about the gov's decisions, why dont you stand out and talk it out like chee soon juan?Originally posted by Nikar2:(m-glory)

if the rulers implement certain decisions, they can choose not to obey.
if they get fired and the regime finds replacement and no one wants to work, the i can tell you seriously that even the MM will have no choice but to chance the gahmen's stance.
instead of price hikes, they will abandon the whole thing altogether.
anyway, to each his own.
all these talk about civil servants pisses me off so much, especially when i think of those executives in long-sleeve and ties so darn arrogant and proud like got gahmen's backing, think they're holier-than-the-lower-to-middle-income-folks....i really wanna pull their ties and strangle them.
immature fellow, even if the country wasnt run by ur so-called "regime", the country wouldnt want pple like u.pre-puberty clown, are you trying to tell me that you're nothing but a staunch and firm supporter of the current regime?
