Recently I watched the conqueor story and many people have watched it too.

I will tell you why people in the past are so stupid.

In the past when canons are not yet invented, the soliders wil try to enter the city by 2 ways

1. Many soliders will carry a heavy piece of wood and try to bang open the doors of the wall.

This is a stupid method as the enemy on top of the wall can shoot arrows down at them, throw big stones down and crush them to their death, pour oil down at thema nd throw fire down to burn them alive etc..

By the time they managed to break open the door and go into the city, the majority of the soliders will be dead already.

They sure will lost the war de.

2. The soliders use ladders to climb up the wall.

The enemy soliders can just push the ladders away and let them fall to their death. Even if they manage to climb up to the wall, it will be a few soliders up there fighting against thousands of soliders

See how stupid they are to even come out with such a no brain method

I see the way they fight wars ah I wanna laugh at their stupidity man

If you know, the earliest form of Bio-warfare was used on attacking a city, where the attackers threw dead bodies into the river flowing into the city to make the city sick.

Another way is to cut off supplies from the cities, but that might take rather long sometimes.

There were also underground tunnels to attack into a city.

Also, there were catapults which catapult large stones into the city

In warfare, it is not just whack whack whack that matters. Management of soldiers, logistics, diplomacy, etc... all matters

Reading your post, i'm wondering if by some chance you get teleported into the past, you can do better even with your modern knowledge.

Perhaps TS can enlighten me on any alternative routes the people in the past can take? A mediocre post.

You can criticise all you want, but as things stand, it's different, it's way much easier for you to mock at past history, and in time to come, people of the next generation would laugh at your stupidity. That, i am certain of.

I followed the shows closely. Undestand that some of the history story has been changed.

Their tactics were seem quite stupid to people of our time. But that were the best strategies more than 2,000 years ago.

the ladder is at an angle to the wall...push away already will still fall back to the wall because of gravity...
