ok i see this in another viewpoint....its miscommunication.
that uncle he wans to test the product but in according to u, product must be bought first, then allowed to be tested and exchanged if there is anything wrong with the product. But the uncle dun wan to buy first but insist on testing it first. . . . . maybe this is where the problem lies.
Maybe the uncle just want to try out the functions of the item, to have a feel of the item, take a closer look, or mayb plug in to see.......ok to some pple, this is called "testing". that is to test the item.
So he may say " can i test the item ? if not how i knw whether it suits me ? "
so actually he is not supposed to test before buying.
The keypoint here is wrong usage of word...or maybe presented himself wrongly....he should say " do u have a sample for me to try out ?" maybe that will be easier to understand by sales/promoters.....

oh sorry i reread the 1st post again and find tat the uncle just want to knw whether the item can be functioned or not ??? if tats the case then its even more weird tat he demanded u to "test" it before paying. i mean if he really want to buy, pay and try on the spot, any prob just change a new set immed. but i still have the feeling that he wants to "test test only" i.e to try out the functions,feel the items...etc. -
True, but it's difficult to say. Because he was standing infront of the test model, furthermore, to fully test the product, we don't have the spare resources. Because the product, VDR-MC5, requires a Handycam, regardless of DVtape, HDD, or DVD-R/+-RW and a 12cm blank DVD of any format. What's the worst part, it requires time. If he didn't understand the latter part regarding time, I can understand that. However refusing to pay for the product, and then tainting it and walking away with such an attitude. Still creating such a ruckus in the process, is extremely childish. That is my perception though.
This things are quite subjective. But I want to hear more about what others think about this situation, and especially how'd they react. I think this is something we can share about. -
Because the customer is not obliged to buy. The same right appeal to us, and it will apply to us, you ask, we're not obliged to answer or give in to your demands. The world isn't fair.
