Do anyone know how much can keeping a hamster cost?Example a hamster+cage+beddings+food=$$$ ?

cage,dont buy too big, if not difficult to clean.. food no need buy too expensive one, waste money, buy those normal corn or nuts can liao...

cage accessories like bathtub, toys- $10+
bedding - $10 last a few months, if change once a week
food - $10 for 1kg, last a month+
titbits - $10 for 2 or 3 packs, last a month
bathing sand - $8 for one bottle, last a few months, if change once a week
hamster - try not to buy. see if frens got hammies who just gave birth. -

bathing sand can dont buy but use have to use water to clean your hamsters which is quite troublesome -

never use water to bathe your hamsters
they will clean themselves one anyway
just rber to change the bedding at least once a week
but bathing sand is good to remove grease from the fur -

they oso can play with each other -
dont buy hamsters if your the type who get bored of things easily...
if not will be a burden for you and your hamsters after a few weeks with the feeding and all that
get fish lah easier to keep... and cheaper somemore -

Eh. If you wanna keep them in a tank, plastic or not. Please get them chew toys. Otherwise, their teeth will grow out of control.
Those normal steel bar cages are "good" cos they grind their teeth on them. Good source of iron i guess? Heh. But still good to get them chew toys in steel cages if u dun like the cage to look too ugly. -
Hamsters are cute but I can bet you so much money you'll get bored of them after 2 weeks. Happens with everyone who gets a hamster
