have u played a prank on ur friends before by calling them and pretending to be some mediacorp hosts?
e.g. calling ur friends and pretending to be desmond koh and kym ng, telling them u r calling from mediacorp and u have won some money coz u have bought some items from sheng siong supermart
did they fall for ur trick? -
I was a victim. Back in 2003. I said "don't f.uck around" and hung up
They say "hi we're calling from radio blah blah blah and here for an interview"
i forgot. couldn't really remember
can say related to yours but this one is radio dj

if play this type of trick might as well work for hong kong tv station and call people ... if they fall for it can earn their hard-earned money too

Technically speaking no.! I did that. I ask someone to call my friend tell him that he's invited to a TV show.
In the script, we told my friend that we were from "MediaCrop" -
me called my friend, who is quite well off financially.
Sounding like im in deep shyte and like a despo,
i ask him if i can borrow some cash from him. . .
He den goes like,
"Erm. . ok, how much?"
Den i say a million bucks. . He scold me F@rk u la, and hung up. . .
2 weeks later, called him again , and did the same thing. .
When i said "one million" again, he said" F@Rk la! not AGAIN!!"
And he hunged up -

i always pretend i'm calling from mediacorp or from some company..then bluff them do survey or that they have won a prize or something. hahaha!! very funny when they are very serious in answering me. -
