Its true that as a teenager, we are often looked down and bullied(in verbal ways). Im a teenager and have seen many cases like this before. Sometimes when we go to a shop to buy things, the aunties or uncles will be like very unfriendly to us.
Theres this case last week which i expirienced. I was in yishun town sec for my bro's sec1 orientation. Because the school was new, it was still sort of in construction. Theres this parade square which was rounded up three sides, except the front, because it is still wet. I didnt know because there were not even signs to indicate it. I stepped on it and theres this construction worker who scolded an F word to me.
Later on , other adults started walking in the same path but then this worker did not even do anything or scold. From this expirience, i have come to find that thew society sort of look down on teenagers. Even though we are teenagers, i feel that we shouldnt get this kind of treatment. Little do adults know we teeangers will govern singapore in the future. -

I work in this company that is a pet's cafe.
Beleive it or not i have a extremely unreasonable and perverted manager.
I was suppose to get my pay and he can actually tell me this.
1- i don noe when pay comes
2- You need the money then u tell me now?!
3- So know u need money i have to give u know is it?
on another scenario is this, my boss is extremely biased.
I put my hands in the apron pocket and he can yell at me telling me not to put my hands in the pocket. He then proceeded to another who also happen to be doing the same thing and told her jokingly not to put her hands in the apron pockets =.=''' come on man, wat age are we in now. I tot man and women are on the equal scale and there u are doing another.
there are alot more i can say but i beleive its no use also, my work place sucks big time and i only get a measley pay of $5/hr =.=''''

well you have no right to complain, simply because you are ON AN ATTACHMENT, you volunteered for the job, so you face the consequences, they don't treat you fairly, too bad, quit the job,and forget the pay.

rules are meant to be rules mahh.. wat if.. u are schooling shd be until 8-1.30 than ur teacher purposely delay without any reason. Like it? same to the MC too.. MC can play2 meh? unless u got somebody u knw a doc n can get free mc or go polyclinic fake2 sick. If this company still refuses to pay you, call them and tell them you will seek help from Ministry of Manpower to get your pay, I guarantee you they will pay you soon. This was what I did to my ex company. Kept delaying my pay and called them each time they gave excuses and pushed responsibility from one to another, I was "passed around" like a ball, I tolerated, then can't give chance any more so I told them about MOM, they sent cheque to me within few days.

sure! trust me. employees are damn protected in SG. i used to work for a cosmetic company also lidat. OT dun pay. my RO also nv pay.
&&& once u leave the company, no matter when e paydate is, they are to pay u within 7 days after u leave dem.
i made my complain. in the end gort compensted 6 months off salary. =)

If what you stated above is all true then I support you fully to expose them. Before you do that sneakily on your hp and record down your convo with that ass supervisor. Then HAND IT to MOM. Make sure make copy and hand one to Ng Eng Hen! No joke here. Always have evidence at hand! currently, l am working as an attachment student in a company.
but l feel that this company treat me unfairly in alot of ways.
My sch told me that if we are sick and unwell, we jus have to call them beforehand and produce the MC the nxt working day, and l hav obey the rules
when l get MC, the supervisor accused me of playing with the MC system, saying l am faking.
l am supposed to work 8 hrs daily and 10 hrs during sat. but apparently, the company had delayed me and dun seem willingly to let me off during certain times, and the reason tey giv is there are alot of work load. when l wan to leave, it is like l am begging and seeking for permission to leave. My frenz told me that l hav the right not to do OT. It is supposed to be decided by me and not them.
My pay was delayed, by right l shld hav get my pay after working for 1 mth, now it has been 1 mth 1 week, but still l didnt get my pay. All of attachment frenz get their pay le except me. And up till now, all they can tell me is my pay will be delayed, they didnt even giv me a date when l will get the pay
And he even threatened me by saying he had a pen in his hand, and he can feel free to write anything in my report at the end of the day
for now, l hab complained this case to my sch le. My sch told me l am not the only one who had complained, previous batch of attachment had oso done so.
but l still feel unjust, from the above, do l had the rite to complain?

if anything goes wrong, write about it in every bloody forum you can find. write to straits times, upload stuff on youtube and so on. Blog about it.
Passive- aggresive method: Alternatively, email him/call him/bug him every day until you get your pay. Whine, whine, whine and annoy him until he cannot stand it anymore and gives you your paycheck. Oh and when you email him, CC it to every other person in the company as well.
The whining/annoying method works. My ex-employer delayed our pay for so long that even after quitting, I dropped by the office everyday without fail, called him everyday without fail to bark at him about my pay. I made a BIG FUSS so that every employee knows about it. -

talk to school first, see what is their response. Normally they stand by the students as u pay school fees and if u really never do anything or try anything funny.
Last time, during my IA time burnt their prototype and company also LL as ask me to go and try to figure out how to go abt doing the prototype. No one to teach and ask. there do sai kang.
anyway, u think company so stupid as to hire IA without any strings attached?
the fact is that they had some benefits from the school if they take in IA students.
So in other words, u r the boss as u can inform ur school that the company F. up. next time they will reject their application. But for your case, already done the IA so LL.
anyway, most of the case is small company try to be funny.
maybe next time , u can try to attach to big company . as they always on the look out for talents thru IA . as got frds once attachment over, the company offer post to them. think no need to stress on after grad is it = to retrenment. hahahahaha
