  Did you give $ to your father who is still working? I give him lesser compare to my mom who is not working leh.. he like not happy leh.. how much you give your dad ah?

  i think u should ask ur parents how much allowance they need.
  
  and if they quote u an amt that u think u will have difficulty giving them, then let them know.
  
  why is it that so many ple give more to mum and lesser to dad har?
  
  i have frens who give mum $200, dad $50.
  
  isit bcos they are closer to their mum?

  i dont give my father any allowance as he is still working...
  
  ultimately everyone is contributing to household utilities. So i dont see any point for me to give money to my father, then he in turn give money to my mother who manages the household expenses.

  i give $250 to my mother , taking back 1.8k , Once i finish my 3 month probation , den i can give abit more , since my pay will also go up!!!!
  I tot of giving abit more , but since im a male , i have to have saving !!!! 24 yr old liao , saving still 4digit !!! Wait got no money to marry jialat!!!

  Im in charge of getting or making my house real good and comfortable with some new furniture and throw away the old furniture..
  
  well.. i spend more for these kind of stuff instead of giving them $$ to spend lol

  Used to give my mum $300 every month *she keep $250 for household expenses* & give $50 to my dad who is retired
  Once my mum going China I give her $1,000 to pay for the tour
