Got a curious question to ask..
Suppose you are a girl and you are preganant and the doctor told you that your child is disabled meaning that he/she will be born disabled either physically like being blind etc or mentally disabled.
What will you do?

sometimes it is not as simple as that..
whenever I see parents with such children, I often take a closer look at the parents for they really deserved my respect.
They did not take the easy way out and just try to stay in their hole.
Instead they bravely took the bold move and embrace life.
These children also have their own lives and are God's children.
However, I strongly believe that sometimes, you get a door shut, but you get many windows open.

Lord of battle I pray on bended knee
Conquest by the rising sun
I will wait for thy command with flame and blood at hand
Glory and a broken sword.
I am the master of the world I have no fear of man or beast
Born inside the soul of the world
Riding hard breaking bone
With steel and stone
Eternal might I was born to wield.
Let us drink to the battles we have lived and we have fought
Celebrate the pain and havoc we have wrought
Great heroes charge into the fight
From the north to the south
In the black of night
The clash of honor calls to stand when others fall
Gods of war feel the power of my sword
Fierce is my blade fierce is my hate
Born to die in battle
I laugh at my fate
Now pay in blood when your blood has been spilled
You are never forgiven
Death is fulfilled !
The clash of honor calls to stand when others fall
Gods of war feel the power of my sword
The clash of honor calls
I will stand when others fall
Open magic doors
The will know the power of my sword
There is blood in my hands
There is blood in my eyes
With blood in my voice
I scream as you die
Thirsting for vengeance and mounds of the slain
Shaking the forest onto the plain
Fierce is my blade fierce is my hate
Born to die in battle
I laugh at my fate
Now pay in blood when your blood has been spilled
Youre never forgiven death is fulfilled !
The clash of honor calls to stand when others fall
Gods of war feel the power of my sword

I hate it when people want to bear the child just because god wants them to. I'm not trying to be against any religions, but come on...During this time it's not about whether everyone deserves to live or whatever..imagine the child, all grown up living in the outside world.
Do you think the parents can still care for him? And in Singapore it is pretty dumb to keep the disabled baby because he/she will certainly suffer and face unintentional-discrimination...
Dont keep saying things like oh this baby sure will have other "gifted aspects"...I just doesn't work. Artistic talents etc...it just dont piece together in Singapore's society. And the child will probably hate his/her parents for life.
It just doesn't make any sense. What's so big a deal about abortion if there is an extremely valid reason to do so?Other than short-term emotional hurt sustained by the mother, there is nothing else! Just have another baby! This solution might seem "wrong" in the believers....but think about it...the emtional-psychological-mental-physical hurt sustained by all sides DWARFS the short term hurt sustained by the couple.
