I've noticed it. Especially here in the west. All Asian boy's (Korea, Singapore, China, Japan, Thailand, Malaysia, The Philippines et c). Love to play video and computer games. Why is that?

Because asians lead very stressful and focused lives that can be effectively compensated for by the virtual escapism that video gaming provides. Theres simply no time for other forms of entertainment in Asian society due to economic reasons

Probably false.
For me and many others I believe, gaming offers me an temporary escape from the mundane things in life and keeps me sane. Asian society is not as liberal. There are lots of taboos, more 'cannots' than 'cans'. It's pretty boring and restrictive. So gaming is my way of balancing things up a little.
