On the other hand, they won't be hiring an engineer if the job scope do not require one. I have spoken to them on this, and they said it is a requirment for all to start off with and only after a year, then he/she will do designing using those softwares.
I was told by a friend that a year focusing mainly on paperwork is far bit too long....Is this true? I am working with Japanese, and they reasonable helpful to teach you anything which is a plus sign.
Is it an okay place to stay or should i move on?
updating BOM requires you to be familiar with the different components of the product...which would be helpful in the future...unless you dont intend to stay in the company long-term.
best if they require you to source for the component itself from suppliers....like purchaser job...stressful but you really learn.
