Many things can be cheap but worn in such a way that it's actually good looking, depends on how you carry yourself. If your type of cheap is $10 per piece, go to Hang Ten.
If you're gonna dress like a fashionista but have a crap hairstyle, save yourself the trouble.
No such thing as looking good but cheap.
I have a friend spend $100 to rebond hair, but he doesn't bother styling it up, end of the day he still looks the same. -

I get mine from the auntie on the 2nd lvl of bugis street though her selection quite limited.
I go to topman for plain tees and some graphics tee, its normally just a few dollars more plus i have member's card so thats 10%
Fareast also has alot of shops but the the stuffs are overpriced, for example shops like Spin B. Options has a good selection of vests but too expensive. -

I go to OG at People's Park. They carry a particular brand of menswear whose designs I like.
As classy as those you find in Takashimaya, but without the hefty price. -

nowadays me and my m8s go to JB shop for clothes alrdy la hahaha. seriously. walk around larkin got a few shopping centres. or Angsana shopping centre. anotehr is this Pink shopping centre walkable distance from the causeway.forgot the name.
cheap and good. S$200 u can whole day shop and makan. but be sure to go with ur friends la.min. 3 ppl. leave m'sia b4 8pm.thats when the shopping centres get eerily dark and quiet. -
bugis village clothes are all the same style. you visit one shop can already, others no need to see... price also the same, you wan style and cheap save moreeeeeee money fly to taiwan or bangkok to buy =D thats what i do x_x
or get ur old clothing and cut and sew yourself. easy peasy. -
you want truely stylo clothes. dior homme is the choice for you, but its not anywhere near cheap
