    • Can't do much about it if you lost the ticket.

Some flight companies have policies where they can't have a situation where two tickets appear for security reasons.

Why dont you try buying one ticket, pass it to me, and then tell me if they allow you entry?

    • Cant really delay entire flight becos two tickets appear. The effect can be astronomical when passengers blame the company for the fault.

    • The airline system should have the particulars of the actual passenger who is going to board the plane...ie ur worker...Reason why the airline refused to replace the ticket could be that they dun want to have 2 tickets of the same seat...

U can TRY going down EARLY with ur worker on the day of the supposed departure and talk to the check-in staff about the issue...if they buy ur sad story...they can let U check-in first...ie issue U ur boarding pass 1st...then the next person who comes up to the counter with the same ticket will have problems...but then again...it would be at the discretion of the check-in staff...since afterall...ur worker is the one who lost the ticket...

Hello? Dumb man, sometimes it pays to think before concluding what others post.

What if the person who lost the ticket, found the lost ticket, returned with the lost ticket, try to board the plane while another person who reported on behalf of the person who lost the ticket, appear with another ticket, try to board the plane with the valid ticket?

      I love limericks.

      Snobbish,

You should talk to the manager, or escalate the problem. There's NO need to buy another ticket/seat.

They should be able to replace a lost ticket, sometimes at a admin cost.

Their reason for having 2 ticket is just a ploy to get you to spend more money.

The original ticket has your worker's name on it.

When any passenger check in at the airport counter, the customer service must verify the name on the passport match the name on the ticket before they will issue a boarding pass.

Even if another person pick up the lost ticket and try to use it, he/she will not be able to pass that point, UNLESS he/she has the SAME NAME as your worker.

There is no refund, is most likely your company bought a NON-REFUNDABLE ticket. But it can be replaced if lost.

But make sure you get the ticket replaced BEFORE the flight date.

It will likely cause your worker to miss his flight if you wait till the last minute to settle this problem.

      Don't delay.

    • Wait, your worker still need to check in at the airport right.........

If his name is on the flight details, the counter will certainly issue him another boarding pass....

      What is the issue?

Depending on the airline.... depending on the airline.

    • too bad... but they should be able to issue replacement tickets as air tickets are all registered to the owner and dun think anyone can just show the air ticket and board the flight...
