Is polo tee considered smart casual dress code?

  The restaurant I am going to has a smart casual dress code,but recently very hot dont wanna wear long sleeves..

  smart causal, means long sleeve shirt and pants, in some cultures, a tie is required.

  but knowing singaporeans' "foreign-stars-lead-the-way" kind of fashion, anything goes.

  If your polo T is branded Ralph Lauren, then yes, it is smart casual.

  If your polo T costs $9.99 and bought during the Great Singapore Sale, then no, it cannot be counted as smart casual.

  Smart casual should be shirt (long sleeves) and jeans (jeans is casual), and shoes

   

   

  i dont consider polo tee as smart casual but...........   maybe it's ok in sg?
