i was wondering if anyone can share his or her experience in UNISIM with me. I plan to take up a part time bachelor programme (BSc Marketing) with UNISIM. However before i decide to sign up with them, i need to find out the following:
1. How are classes conducted? Is it in a big audit with alot of students or do they keep to small classes with a max cap on students in a class? I know tutorial they do keep small group but lessons i'm not so sure.
2. Based on your experience, what do you think of the interraction between lecturer and student? Do lecturers spend time and effort to answer questions?
3. I heard from my current classmates from my present school that he has a friend in UNISIM and because he cannot cope and pull out from the programme. Based on your experience is it very tough studying in UNISIM?
4. This may be a silly questions, but what is the passing rate in UNISIM?
any advice are welcome, hope someone can help me with my doubts as i got no friends studying in UNISIM.

Try to take the maximum no of modules for a part time course and graduate asap. take like 4 modules a semester and you can graduate almost as fast as a fulltime.
true, but i dont think i can cope, 2 module is comfortable for me, more than that i may not be able to get good results cause too taxing, but i will keep wat u said in mind

You must set your objective clear.
Do you want to have a good degree? honours?
or do you just need a normal degree?
or are you afraid you cannot cope?
If you just want a normal degree(pass will do), try to finish the course asap and save money and time.
may i ask TS, are u going straight after poly?
have u send the application?
nope, nothing done yet, im actually a working adult
Hi Clive,
actually i m facing the same situation as u. a working adult trying to get a PT degree, juggle work n school. wif so many schools n foreign unis offering roughly the same course/ programs, 1 can get really confused. b4 u decide on anything, ask urself these simple qns,
1. where u working n living? travelling dist n time back n forth from office to sch, back home etc.
2. money. which 1 more worth for u in terms of school fees n time needed to get the BA?
3. direct honours or jus BA?
4. lastly, wat r the difference in terms of course structure n teaching methods?
