considering that cost of that card cost $27.10 which gives only 10% discount on purchases that means you have to buy a total of $271 worth of books in order to gain back the initial cost of the card.. further more kino books care almost priced higher than competitors like borders and MPH..10% discount would only give you the price equilvilant to MPH's Borders' usual price only..in comparison with Popular privilege card only $10nia..they both carry latest hotsellers like the kite runner, thousand splendid suns...
but in some occasions certain hard to find books are only available in kino and their higher price is compensated by the excellent service and wide variety of selections..
so do you guys think kino's privilege card is worth it??
Go Pasar Malam and buy books then... keep comparing prices then just shop at the cheapest store and save the forum some space...![]()
If you're an avid book reader, it's very easy to choke up $271 worth of book expenses.
I prefer to put a borrowing reservation at the public library instead. They have some of the latest titles too.
one visit and the card paid for itself...
It's very well worth it, if you like to read books & magazines. I spend about a average of $15 in Kino every month and they have a wider selection of books that I want, that borders will never have.

i usually shop lift books, i find buying something that i will only read once not economical so shop lifting is the way to go
Quite easy to earn back the $27.10 within a year lar...
$271 means you will spend on the average $25.60 a month. That is slightly more than the price of a paperback.
If you really really want to make your investment worth it, you can always bring a few friends along if they are interested in buying books from Kino.

which neighbourhood uncle sam's shop u shoplift in?
u mean it's alot spending 271? The books inside are expensive, i bet it dun take you more than 5 trips to get a sum total of 271. To me its worth it. Its my favourite store. Either for the comics, or for the books.
