      The word "slaves", doesn't sit well with me.

      We should call them Foreign Talents, but given cheaper wages.

      ^^ and don’t play the ‘it’s better than what they already have’ card either, that’s balls, it’s breaching a fundamental human right for one man to own another and anyway as with anything like that it would be abused… horrifically. so just no. learn from history.

      totally ! slaves... hahaha ! move to mali or something and get slaves to work for u.. don't the sg govt will allow one to have slaves.

      We already have them, just that they come from Bangladesh and we call them foreign talents.

      wtf......this is modern world leh......we dun practice slavery anymore.......

      i dun think banglas are considered foreign talents unless they are PR........

      Maybe this will disappoint u:

      PENAL CODE (Chapter 224), Section 370

      Buying or disposing of any person as a slave.
      Whoever imports, exports, removes, buys, sells or disposes of any person as a slave, or accepts, receives or detains against his will any person as a slave, shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to 7 years, and shall also be liable to fine.
