SINGAPORE : Nine kidnap scams were reported to the police on Friday.
This brings the total number of such scams reported in the past three days to 21.
Police say none of the cases were true.
The people who received such calls managed to contact the so-called "kidnapped" victim, and avoided getting scammed.
Callers will normally threaten to harm the supposed victim, if money is not paid up.
Sometimes, calls of help can be heard in the background.
Police say that if members of the public receive such calls, they should contact their loved one immediately. If their loved on is uncontactable, they should call the police.
They should also pose questions to the kidnapper to verify the identity of the supposed victim. - CNA/ms

My Aunt got this kind of call!
Fortuanately my COUSIN was still in the house sleeping.
Caller: "(Victim)Ma, help me help me!"
Aunt: "xx, xx is that you? Are you alright???"
Caller: "(Mastermind)Your son just dezui my frens, bring money to solve this problem."
Aunt: Suddeny remembered that my cousin had a off day that fateful day.
Aunt: My son still sleeping soundly in the room, who the hell are you??
Phone: *toot toot toot tooot*

they took 3 mins to capture an old man making prank calls saying that he is mas selamat, but they won't pursue these idiots?
