  what will u do if someone nicely asks for your telelphone number but you dont want to give it out? and you cant use the excuse i cant remember my number or i dont have a phone because your phone is sitting happily next to u.......i've used the excuse that the phone im currently holding is my sister's and that she doesnt have my number stored in there. but i can only tell such lies when i really dont like the person who is asking for the number...=\

  i cant really tell people that 'i dont want to give it to you'. and i usually keep my phone 'hidden' such that i can use the above excuses. but sometimes i forget and people catch me with the phone...=\

  i hate giving out my number. be it to classmates, friends, random pple, etc.....and if i tell them the truth (that is, i just dont like to give it out) it'll seem as though i have something against them or something. because really, how many pple are so weird as to not give their numbers out as what then is the use of the phone?

  i say no have. so troublesome, answering the home phone for me is already a bothersome.

  and they wont believe when i really don have phone.

  uhmm.. but why wouldnt you give your numbers to your friends?? or classmates??  then how do you contact em? lol

  for strangers, if i dont feel like givin, i'd say "it's not necessary" or "i dont think it's necessary".... in a polite way and smile then walk off....

  they will get the point and let you go.... tried and tested

  If it's a complete stranger who is asking for your number, you can say that your boyfriend isn't comfortable with such exchanges.  This should work even if you aren't attached, since the person would never be able to find out the truth =P

  At any rate, you should be glad that so many people want to know you better =)

  I'll just say, i'm lazy to sms, press button so slow.

  Lazy to pick up calls, calls are mostly for emergencies only. Most of the time in MSN...haha

  Or you can say im changing a new line already, this number not using soon,change already i tell you.(which is forever)

  Or this is my shared phone with mummy or daddy, unless you want to call my mummy/daddy then call lor...

  Or if bo bian give him a fake no. say your phone spoil when he ask why you never reply.

  These are some of my ways to avoid some troublesome girls hehe...

  Just explain it the same way as you did here lo. I'm sure your friends and classmates will understand. As for strangers, any excuse like those suggested above would be enough.
