Can you survive in SG earning 800bucks?

It seems that the wage gap will continue to wide..with lesser people getting control of more of SG wealth...so can you survive with 800 bucks a month?
I mean as a single living in 3 rm flat

I ask this question cause I know an insurance agent cited he earn 4k a month and not enough

i know someone earning 20k a mth, oso say not enough
i know someone earning $700 a mth, very happy with life. -
It's very depressing when people look down on you when you cited you earn less than 2k amonth

As a recruit.

If you are alone, 800 should be sufficient if you aren't materialistic.
If you got family, then maybe not.

$800 definitely enough for a single, if I don't have to make monthly payments for the flat.
Of course, to some, even $8k also not enough.

It's not even enough to pay my bills and insurance man. My shopping over the weekend already more than $800 and hor before you say I spend my hubby's money, it is my own money ok. I don't need to take his money for my shopping.

Sometime we put so many hardwork to the company, but we earn a miserable pay. What happened to this capitalism world? Dont mention that 20k/per month guy. That news sadden the rest of us who do not have the benefit.

haha, recruit 400 and private 500 :) yes army is cheap labour but consider that everything u eat is free,lodging.
money is never enough, but to survive with 800 pay in s'pore for a working adult is too lil, at least 1.5k before CPF is consider MIN i'd say.
