    • In the past, when you subscribe to anthony robbins leadership camp,. it seems that anyone can lead, but as one grows older in life , you find that it not the case, some people seem to have the traits of great leadership so is it born or made?

    • they're all wrong..

good leaders happen because of circumstances...

Mao Zedong would have been beaten to death by the authorities now..
Bobby Kennedy would be drowned by cynicism...
Shaka Zulu would become one of the many corrupt warlords in Africa..
Che would just be a joke...

    • i wonder too..

Will a leader be born or made?

If a loser wanted to be a leader, can he
make it with all his bad habit and attitude and thinking?

Can anyone be a leader? So its born or made?

    • Leaders definitely dun drop from the sky....so they are born (ok dun stone me).

Some leaders are born cos they pick up faster, it's their characteristics to dominate and control, etc...

Some leaders are made cos they have to survive, to complete a task.

And then you intriduced the word 'great ' to leadership. Now great leaders are born, trained, exposed, and fated to live out their lives.

What is your definition of a great leader?

there are many types of leaders ofcourse.......those that get stoned to death and praised everywhere they go are the unrealistic types......

true leaders will always get both praises and critisisms.......

hmmm....naturally most people would feel that way......but must accept that he could probably be a good leader......

but then, a good leader serves his people and not be served by his people.......

    • serving ppl is not the main problem..
The main is that if one is leader , can he able to take the responsibility seriously.. i doubt not many can.

    • I would say made.

Last time was a sheep, then as I rised up, more responsibilities and trust are thrust upon me so no choice but to lead.

indonesia is one case......leaders cannot make good descitions becoz the people dun wan to compromise.......instead, the people demand the unrealistic.......hmmm......the world is full of shit sometimes....but one thing i like there and india is that gangsters are more afraid of students then the police......coz the gangsters could easily be outnumbered by a whole school.....wakakaka

    • everyone is born with some leadership qualities, some more some less. so have to be harnessed with training, tested through scenarios before you can see anybody's leadership.

like the old saying, "everyone's a leader of their own life." You can always try to lead, but got people follow or not is another issue :)

    • IMO Leadership can be acquired through trg

But some are just born with this gift of leading others naturally

Can really see those who are really gifted at it. Really a class apart from the rest of the leaders
