anyone got experience with stinky shoes??

  i got an old pair of shoes...one day walked back in the rain and it was all soaked. The next day it started to stink. The smell of the stink is similar to the kinda stink in dank and moist places, NS guys who bash in the wet jungle will know wat i mean.

  I tried to soak the shoes in dettol water to kill the bacteria and then sun dry it before wearing it. It was fine for one day and then the stink came back again!!! any suggestions?

   

  ps. i'm thinking a good idea is to really heavy duty bake it under the hot afternoon sun for hours.

  since is old pair of shoes liao, then can consider trash and buy new one
  and dun wear it in the rain again

  ya i have such shoes ,it stink like hell man..... i have wash it and dry it in the end still stink  so i throw it away lol i think its the clothy clothy type of shoe den will like this by if wear leather or rubber 1 will not like this bah.....

  haiz...i'm ready to throw away the pair...but it doens't solve matters as in there are times new shoe will get wet no matter wat. so must find a reliable way to kill the bacteria...anyone here got such experience and solution?

  dun trash it.....give it to the poor....although it stinks.......after washing, try putting it in the dryer and spin until it is dry....haha...sometimes the sun can make your clothes stink too......
