    • AS long as you have that amount of $ in your bank account that qualify for the application it is fine.

    • Was told UOB has better offers.  Me using UOB.    Perhaps you would like to go online to check the differences among what the banks are offering before you apply for any card.

UOB has such offers as you mentioned above but which restaurants I don't know.    Do you want to have credit card just for purpose of dining?   Remember if you don't spend enough to accumulate points, you need to pay for subscription.

For dining purpose, Use Diner Club Card lah, use credit cards for what, they are meant to make you pay them credit, not dining ya

    • the citibank clear card Zouk promotion is ending soon i think. UOB now has Zouk and Velvet promotion if im not wrong. and if u drive, go look for a good card that got petrol discounts...very impt for drivers. theres also a citibank card that has rebates on ezlink fares.

and i simply LOOOVEE to cancel my card when they don't wana waive my annual fee. that poor fella will always try to persuade you to continue with the card but i love to say "nope sorry, id look for another card, bye:D" shade.png

and rmb to pay ur bills on time ar..sometimes one day late all the discounts that u chalked up gone plus they charge interest on the undiscounted price!
