I'm sick and tried of finding job nowadays as every company wants to hire experience people.
So now I thought of starting my own freelance onsite computer service but problem is how to start?
Where to get customer and be successful in doing this service? I tried posting classified ads on the internet and even on my website. But no response so any advices?
Cheers,
symx
(PS: If u have a good advice and would like to share with me on msn [email protected]. Feel free to do so but no spam.)
give a reasonable pricing for your services and dont overcharge
try better means of advertisment like classified ads or even flyers etc.
I agree with TrixCereals, the most important thing is that potential customers must know that you are providing IT support services, if you're game, try sending faxes to some companies, offering them contract maintainence services and etc.
Provide home service... but list down your profile etc.. a real good with solid english, get someone to edit your english cv or whatever.. to sumit to your client for view
u are just trying to disguise this thread to advertise for ur services rite?
i just need tips for my business, ![]()
Thx guys for the input but I'm looking at ways to provide service for home users.
Wat kind of home service for PCs u hav in mind? Software or Hardware? Can create awareness by distributin flyers rite to their doorsteps, pretty common nowadays.
Dble post! Sorry!
Darn..triple post! Sorry
i tried to do my own but i have to put to a stop due to my own commitment.
starting is always hard, but when u build up ur reputation, you got hear this word before, one tells ten, ten tells hundred, hundred tells thousand and so on.
For a start, i can tell you is, charge cheap and do a good job. i started by going onsite to repair a lady's computer, when one time i couldnt solve it (due to some issues which the com screwed my brain up), i had to go to her house for a second time, in which i finally solved it. Guess wad? i only charged 25 bucks! And i believe her com till now (a few months already, as i given her 3 months of my personal warranty) still running very smoothly and well.
Yup, just my 2 cent worth of opinion.
WoM (Word-of-Mouth) Marketing.
If you do a good job, pass a namecard to your client. Ask him/her to recommend next time.
