    • Hi there,

Anybody have any idea where to find a cosy & quiet cafe/place/library to do some reading.

I mean quiet place and not those noisy starbuck or coffeebean cafes.

      Thanks.

    • Hmmm... I'd like to have a quiet place to read too!

Maybe you should hunt for a small cafe hidden in a corner... That should be a quiet place. The downside to it is that you probably have to pay $6 for a tiny puddle of coffee. Libraries are the best, though the lack of seats is really frustrating.

If i'm a policeman i'll catch a lecherous idiot like you who in the middle of the night do nothing except trawling n hunting for young innocent victims.

I don't mind paying but not too ex, $5-$6 is ok.

    • True... Singapore has limited land space. Sighhh.

Worst comes to worst, plug your ears and shut yourself up in your room.

    • THE BOOK CAFE PTE LTD

      20 Martin Rd
      #01-02 Singapore 239070

As the name suggests, they have books and magazines there for u to read. There are internet stations you can use for free too. Its a very cosy place. Definitely one of my favourite place to read or just chill out with friends. Its just further down the road in Mohd Sultan. Really nice place but if you wanna get a place of their sofa seats, you gotta depend on your luck. Its a pretty small place and though it doesnt get crowded often, it still gets difficult to find a favourite seat hehe.
