read about it... no wonder so hard to catch. the kiap kiap thing always like never grip strong enough, then the doll just slip out of its grasp. i wasted quite a bit of money on this last time. now i know its rigged. sometimes if u lucky the arm grip is strong, then u can catch. sometimes its weak, then cant catch... depend on luck one, doesnt mean ur skill good can catch. wahkao

never too late to know.anyway they adjusts the speed of the arms retracting upwards or the speed of the 'ufo' to the dropoff point. for the arms, if you realise, the faster it goes, when the arms are retracting, the harder it'll hit at the top, hence causing the 'captured' soft toy to fall out. for the ufo, it will move faster and the arms will start swinging causing the soft toy to fall off too.

ya! taiwan ones very good.. guarantee win somemore after 5 catch if you don't get any. each try S$0.50 but those in ximending ones are kind of like singapore's one.. grip very loose..
their toys are better quality than here at least for S$0.50 and the sure win guarantee.

There is a scientific show called " Brainiac " that explore all thing scientific. One of the episode talk about this kind of machine. There is a way to beat the odd. You need to study by watching other play with it first. Count the nos of tries it take before a catch can be done. Then you wait with till that count and you go for it, sure to win one. Reason, the arm of the catch is "strengthen " after a specified numbers of tries.. The operator had set the "quota" one....

i tink it's all abt skill bah....
if u got the skill, no matter how bad the grip is, u still can catch toys mah...
last week at AMK hub, the arcade there.. this guy very skillful lor... everyone standing ard the machine can see that the grip is not closed one.. got some gap n it's very lose type one.. but he $1 catch 1 toy...
